The Kite Trust aims to create an inclusive society where LGBTQ+ young people are healthy, successful and celebrated. Their work supports the wellbeing and creativity of LGBTQ+ young people up to age 30 and they build more inclusive communities to tackle inequalities through consultancy, training and education.

Workshop Synopsis
This half-day interactive workshop will cover:
- Language and concepts relating to gender and sexual identities.
- The experiences of LGBTQ+ young people
- Strategies for demonstrating LGBTQ+ allyship, including recommended resources.
By the end of the training, participants will be equipped with practical strategies and resources to make their professional practice more LBGTQ+/trans/non-binary inclusive. The session will provide opportunities to ask questions and explore ideas in a supportive and non-judgemental environment.

This training is part of the Level Up Youth Work, funded by Propel. Open to frontline workers who are members of YHFF if you:
